COLOUR  Salmon.

NOSE   Lifted aromatics of white peach, dried roses and citrus blossom.

PALATE   White cherry and cranberry fruits on the palate. A small percentage of barrel fermentation gives the wine texture and creaminess, while a strong savoury line runs through the wine, complemented by juicy acid, which draws the wine through to a long, dry finish.

WINEMAKING  Beautiful clean fruit was specifically picked for this Rosé at optimum ripeness levels for our style. Fruit was pressed off quickly with only a small amount of skin contact time resulting in the pale dusty colour. A portion of the juice was moved straight into old barrels for ferment to assist in building the complexity of the wine. Post ferment the barrel and tank portions were blended.

VINTAGE NOTES   A wet Winter and Spring laid down great water reserves going into vintage 2022. A cool & wet Spring meant a slow start, with flowering and veraison tracking behind previous years, but the weather soon warmed up and ripening charged ahead. The warm, dry weather that came gave us great flavour concentration across all varieties and allowed for maturation of tannin & flavour with minimal disease pressure, providing for another great vintage in Margaret River.
