COLOUR  Pale straw.

NOSE  Lifted aromatics of melon & stone fruit, burnt toffee and vanilla bean.

PALATE  A generous and elegant wine, framed by  fine, zesty acid, and  filled out by  lemon & yuzu citrus, nectarine and honeysuckle flavours. Toasty and nutty notes are provided by Burgundian oak. Everything comes together to create a wine of balance and harmony with a full, yet fresh finish.

WINEMAKING  Harvested in the cool of the evening to retain varietal freshness. Gently pressed, settled overnight before racking to French oak barrels with some solids for  textural integration into the wine throughout fermentation, maturation and lees stirring. This Chardonnay showcases complexity and elegant oak influence while still allowing the fresh varietal characters to shine through.

VINTAGE NOTES  Margaret River enjoyed a warm, dry Summer with vine canopy management crucial to ensuring fruit quality was retained as the region experienced a couple of extreme rain events. Our white wines are displaying vibrant varietal characters and a bright natural acidity, while the reds are showing more elegant flavours and aromas from this challenging vintage. All in all, the 2021 wines will all have  superb flavour, structure and balance.
